Last Friday, I was interviewed for an article in the community magazine, Healthquest, a publication of Skagit Valley Hospital. There really wasn’t an “angle” that I could tell. Rather, I was simply asked to talk about my experience as a breast cancer survivor.

Are men really brain damaged?

I've had a lot of my mind this week. Heavy things. Like the brevity of life, the meaning of my cancer experience, how to spend my remaining time on earth, what will happen with the economy (and my job), why I'm Orthodox, and on and on. I'd like to make some pithy remarks about those topics, but I'm plumb out. Which reminds me (the "running out of remarks" thing): I once took a stand-up comedy class at the local college, when my daughter was but a wee babe.
